Know What Your 964 Is Worth.

I got tired of guessing what 964s are worth, so I started collecting every auction result I could verify. There are 339 of them here now, 216 of them in the 2019–2026 valuation bands that power the calculator below. Every price is a hammer price from Bring a Trailer and Cars & Bids, with PCarMarket and Collecting Cars and Hemmings being added, and the dataset grows every week.

One thing to know: these are auction results. What a car hammers for and what it lists for are different numbers, and this site only tracks the first kind.

What is this 964 worth?

Every car is valued from sales of the same model, body, and transmission. Nothing is averaged across the range.

Documented items (measured as the data allows)
A documented engine reseal or top-end rebuild. Premium not yet measurable in the 964 data — no adjustment applied yet.
The dual-mass flywheel replaced (or converted) with documentation. Premium not yet measurable in the 964 data — no adjustment applied yet.
The distributor vent kit that protects the belt drive. Premium not yet measurable in the 964 data — no adjustment applied yet.
The factory sport seats. Premium not yet measurable in the 964 data — no adjustment applied yet.

Pick the car, enter the mileage, and run it. If the band doesn't have enough verified sales yet, the calculator says so instead of guessing.

What the data shows so far

The best-covered car here is the Carrera 2, with 59 sales in the bands. Across the whole set, the median hammer is $96,000.

93% of the banded sales are manuals, the rest Automatic/Tiptronic. The mix moves as the dataset grows, and the model pages break it down car by car.

This is a young dataset next to the 996's. It launched with the sales above and backfills every week; the bands and medians are computed from the data each time, so what you see is what the sales say today.
